Sun Devil Roots

I studied biomedical engineering at Arizona State from 2012 to 2016.

In the Haynes Lab I worked on making PCR accessible: small, portable machines built so the technique could be taught in high-school labs instead of staying locked in specialist ones.

As a SynBERC Scholar I presented “Teaching Digital PCR with OpenPCR and a Blue Light Fluorimeter” at the 2014 SynBERC Spring Retreat at UC Berkeley, alongside Hiram Rivera-Passapera, Kathryn Scheckel, and Dr. Karmella A. Haynes.

My first engineering job was at Becton Dickinson. In 2018 I left it for Los Angeles.
